Technology

iManage uses the latest HIPAA compliant Web-based software technology to automate its workflow from dictation, work distribution, transcribing, editing, billing, and report generation. This technology allows both iManage and our clients to track progress on-line, and provides transparency to our operations showing our clients our principle of integrity and truthfulness.

Methodology/Process

iManage seeks to provide its clients with an accuracy transcription level of more than 98% based on the AAMT standard. To do this, iManage leverages the use of the five-step Six Sigma methodology to ensure efficiency and quality in our operations.

The five step process called DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) ensures that report defects are kept at a minimum as we strive to hit a 99+% accuracy consistency level. This methodology has been proven and widely accepted across several industries like manufacturing and IT, and now it is being accepted as the best practiced methodology for the medical transcription industry.

People

iManage combines both youth and experience to achieve professionalism, knowledge, and enthusiasm in the workplace. Our pool of managers has more than three years of management/supervisory experience in the field of outsourcing specifically in the medical transcription industry. They have the knowledge and the capability to drive performance in both efficiency and quality throughout the workplace.

Our editors on average have more than two years of proof reading experience in the medical transcription field. Their knowledge and experience are unmatched by most as they have come from various medical backgrounds with formal schooling in editorial courses from medical transcription schools, and have gained valuable experience from work as former medical transcribers.Our medical transcribers (MTs) have a wealth of knowledge in medical transcription gained from both formal schooling and from actual work experiences. iManage conscienciously encourage, support, and provide our MTs with continuous learning to increase both breadth and depth of their medical terminology knowledge and for the advancement of their career.
